Welcome to Country Escape

I'm not there yet, but I'm planning! I live on the outskirts of a large town in the home counties, near London. I'm getting married this year and my future husband would like us to move back to his native Ireland and live in the country. As and when we do this, I will be quitting work and having to find something to do at home. I have 2 or 3 novels on the go, so finishing them is a possibility. I also like to make things - jewellery, crafts, body care products etc. I also like to cook, alot.

Whilst preparing for my wedding and future life as Mrs D-M I'd like to share with you things I've made, recipes and general ideas. I would also appreciate feedback and suggestions, and why not share your favourite recipes with me too!
